Who we are
San Antonio Chimney Sweeps (sanantoniochimneysweeps.com) is a free quote service. We connect San Antonio-area homeowners with independent local chimney sweep, inspection and repair companies for free, no-obligation quotes. We do not perform chimney work ourselves. This policy is written in plain English and covers the website, its quote form and the phone number shown on the site. Read more on the about page.
What the quote form collects
The quote form asks for your name and phone number (required) and, optionally, your email address, ZIP code, the service you want and a short description of the job. We collect only what you type. If you attach nothing and write nothing in the details box, we have only your name, phone and whatever else you chose to fill in.
How the form is delivered
The form is processed by FormSubmit, a third-party form-to-email service, which sends your entry to our email inbox. FormSubmit handles the submission under its own privacy terms. We do not keep a separate customer database; your request lives in that inbox and in the messages we send to companies about it.
Who we share it with
We share your request with the independent chimney companies we ask to quote your job, chosen by the area you are in and the type of work you described. Each company receives your name, phone, email if given, ZIP code and job details so it can contact you directly. Those companies are separate businesses and handle your information under their own practices once they have it; we suggest asking them how they store it. We do not sell your information, rent it to marketing lists or share it with anyone else, except where the law requires.
Phone calls
If you call the number on this site, we note your name, callback number and what you are asking for, and we pass those details to companies in the same way as a form entry. Standard carrier records of the call exist as with any phone call; we do not record conversations.
Cookies and analytics
The pages themselves set no cookies of their own and run no advertising trackers. Basic usage statistics may be collected as described in the analytics section of this policy.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives technical data when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and uses it to serve and protect the site under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not combine that data with your quote request.
How long we keep it
Quote requests stay in our inbox for as long as they are useful for following up on your job, then are deleted in the ordinary course of clearing old mail. You may ask us to delete your request at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete the details you sent, to stop forwarding your request to further companies, or to tell you which companies received it. Email the address in the site footer or call Call (727) 300-6656. To stop hearing from a particular company, tell that company directly as well.
Children
This site is for homeowners and renters arranging work on a property. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions about it can be sent to the contact details in the footer. For how the service works, see the FAQ or the home page.
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, including whether a visitor sent the quote form or tapped the phone number. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives standard technical data such as your browser, device and approximate location; it does not receive what you type into the quote form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or use Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
